The front entrance is easy to miss, so look for #385 above the door and ring the bell. I liked the clean room, hot water, and a good breakfast with bread, eggs, papaya, juice, and coffee or tea. The front desk staff were attentive and booked an early taxi for me. Same-day laundry was available, though a little expensive. The bathroom was chilly because its window was slightly broken. At the time I wrote this, construction next door started up at 7 am, though it might be finished in a few months.

The windows were so well insulated that a few drops of rain sometimes got into our room. Still, it’s a great place to stay in Cusco. The staff were very nice, breakfast was great, and the hotel is well placed just a few blocks from the center.

The rooms are small but cozy, and everything looked clean. There was a bad smell at the entrance, though. The staircase is narrow, so you have to carry your own bags from the entrance up to your floor. There’s no kitchen, meaning you’ll need to find somewhere else for lunch and dinner.

The room was clean, but the bathroom smelled bad. The night receptionist didn’t seem willing to help, and we were told guests could be as loud as they wanted because it’s a 24-hour service. We couldn’t sleep well.

The staff were friendly, but the rooms were small and not clean, and the neighborhood was very noisy. We cancelled the rest of our nights and moved to the San Blas area.
