Don Lucio made us feel at home, and the staff were kind and friendly. The service was perfect, the atmosphere was lovely, and the hotel felt very secure in a safe residential area. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Gloria, one of the receptionists, speaks excellent English, which is very convenient if you don’t speak Spanish. Getting transport to Ica center was easy. It’s an excellent place to spend a week enjoying the sun and swimming pool. I’ll come back.

We arrived at 5:30 am after driving from Lima and traveling through the evening, and they were very accommodating. There was parking for our car, towels when we needed them, and the place was close to town. They helped with everything we needed. Since it was the off season, we practically had the place to ourselves. They also have a cute pug named Donna who kept us company.

The rooms are roomy, and the beds are big enough and comfortable. There’s a pool, and the price is nice. The place is clean, and the showers have hot water. It doesn’t have AC, though, and the layout feels a bit disorganized.

It’s tucked away and really nice. Even at night, it doesn’t get too hot.
