Poseidon Guest House

Wilson was a huge help with the tuk tuk, agreeing on a price and talking it through when the return fare was challenged. He even gave us change to help out. He really goes above and beyond. He and his wife picked us up at the airport and helped with our bags. Our room fit a family of four comfortably, with plenty of space, air conditioning, and hot water for showers if needed. We had a lovely short stay, and loved the delicious breakfast. Thank you!

After our four-day jungle tour, the air conditioning and comfortable bed were a welcome treat from Poseidon. The owner was helpful and accommodating, and even drove us to the airport personally for our morning flight. I’d recommend it to a friend, especially anyone looking for a place to stay before catching a flight.

We were rushing to catch our flight and left behind two pairs of shorts and my hygiene kit. The owners washed the shorts and passed everything to a friend, who got the items back to me. They took such good care of us, and I’ll definitely stay at Poseidon house again. They were friendly and worked around our schedule and needs. The location is very close to the airport, which was convenient with our tight airline schedule. The food was very good too.

The place is spotless, with a pool and a chilled-back area. It feels like a calm oasis amid the chaos of Iquitos. We’ve traveled around the world for almost two years with our four kids and met heaps of kind people, but the couple who own this place are by far the kindest. They’re helpful, well read, and attentive. Truly remarkable!
