Inkari Suites Hotel

Thea’s service was excellent, and our room was lovely, with a huge bed and bathtub that felt like a real treat. We also enjoyed the pool, sauna, breakfast buffet, and restaurant food. The hotel is in a beautiful part of Lima and well located. I’d highly recommend it for a few nights.

The people at the front desk were nice, and the bathroom was clean. Still, it was uncomfortable having nowhere at all to hang or set down clothes in the bathroom. The person at the door wouldn’t help with our luggage, and ordering a taxi was expensive.

I paid an extra $30 for early check-in and found a filthy room. The toilet didn’t work, the bathtub had mold and stains, and there were stains on the sheets. I asked for a refund right away because I didn’t want to stay. After an hour of trying, they refused, but offered a better suite instead. I’d been awake for more than 36 hours from work and travel and just wanted sleep, so I took it. The air conditioning in that room didn’t work either. It was hot and humid, and I was sweating, so sleeping was impossible. After another two hours of arguing downstairs, they finally refunded me. Three hours lost to a one-sided argument. What a start to my vacation. 0 stars. The whole building needs renovation, and everything is dirty. The breakfast buffet was horrendous.

Breakfast was generous and good quality, though the substitute they packed when we skipped one morning was very poor and nothing like the regular meal. The gym is well equipped and even has water. At the pool, we got to choose the playlist, and sauna sessions were scheduled. There are shops nearby and public transit makes the hotel easy to reach. The laundry service costs a lot, but there’s a laundromat right across the street. One staff member looked us up and down as if judging our status, and seemed to forget they were there to serve guests.
