At $265 a night, this felt like zero value for money. Even some hostels might provide better service than this so-called hotel. My ground-floor room felt like sleeping in reception, since every doorbell and loud conversation carried in. There was no ventilation in the rooms, and no A/C or fans available. Room service didn’t clean properly, towels weren’t changed promptly, and toiletries weren’t replenished daily. The hotel provides just one bar of soap and one 50 ml shampoo bottle. When I asked for towels, I was told to adjust without them. Breakfast was an ordeal, with bread and fruit rationed out. There was no water or kettle in the room, and I had to buy bottled water because the hotel apparently didn’t stock it. Absolutely horrible experience.

The building has the infrastructure you’d expect from a 3-star hotel, but there’s far too much neglect. The photos make it look great, which is a shame. Carpets are never cleaned, they don’t even have a vacuum cleaner, and the bathrooms are filthy. The showers have apparently never been cleaned, while the walls and grout are moldy. Walls in rooms and common areas are dirty, and the ceilings are in bad shape. Beds aren’t made, they’re just laid out. Management should pay more attention. Even the receptionists don’t know how to greet you properly.

The breakfast was DISGUSTING, and they didn’t even have milk. The sheets were dirty, the floor stained, and dust covered everything from the ceiling and walls to the nightstand. The bathroom was filthy too. We couldn’t shower because the drain was clogged, and the sink had hair left by a previous guest. There were no light bulbs in the nightstands. Terrible service, truly the worst hotel I’ve stayed at in Peru. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The breakfasts had lots of variety, and they cleaned the rooms every day. The hot water worked, too. It’s a great place to stay in a very quiet area, and the staff were friendly and helped me with everything I asked for.
