I loved staying at Villa del Sol in Máncora. The rooms were spotless and nicely decorated, and the area felt safe. The views, especially at sunset, were amazing. The food was so good. They have one of the best chefs, and I had the best causa there, along with a delicious pisco sour. There’s plenty to do, too, from kite surfing and surfing with great instructors to whale watching, swimming with turtles, massages, and cacao ceremonies. I also really enjoyed the morning yoga, with fresh air, a peaceful view, and a calming start to the day. Evenings brought group dinners and singing around the fire, which made the stay feel special and social. I’d definitely come back. Highly recommend it if you want some relaxation, good food, nature, and fun activities.

I ended up calling Villa del Sol home for a month. The views, facilities, relaxing spots, delicious breakfasts, and dinners made by the chef were all wonderful, as were the staff and the lovely atmosphere. It feels like an oasis away from Máncora’s bustle. Annaïg and the team have made something really special here. I honestly can’t rate it higher, it was incredible, and you won’t be disappointed.

From the hammocks in the pretty patios, you can see the ocean. Villa del Sol is a beautiful place to stay in Máncora, set a little uphill but still an easy walk from the main town. The rooms and shared spaces are cosy, clean, and tastefully done, with a modern but warm feel. Breakfast was delicious, and everyone was so friendly. You can also join yoga classes there, which was nice. We met the owner, who was incredibly welcoming. After I accidentally left my e-reader behind, she kindly sent it to Cusco. Highly recommend!

I came for a retreat at Villa del Sol and enjoyed it so much that I stayed another two weeks. The whole team made me feel comfortable, and I’ll remember this trip for life. It’s also a real hidden gem if you like surfing, with the beach just a few minutes’ walk away. I couldn’t recommend this little paradise in Mancora more.

Waking up to that view and having the included breakfast each morning was such a treat. The owner is kind and helpful, the staff are amazing, and the rooms are perfect. This place has everything you need. Absolutely spectacular, you should visit.
