The extra time to relax and learn to surf in Mancora was a lovely bonus, but I came for Spanish and got a lot out of the lessons. After three weeks and 40 hours of classes, my Spanish had improved dramatically. I began with only basic skills and now feel comfortable having conversations with locals. Most of my classes were with Martin. He kept pushing me to speak and listen in Spanish, and that helped me progress much faster. Martin and Luz were also warm and welcoming, shared interesting stories, made time for me, and checked in when I felt unwell. Compared with what I heard about a standard Spanish school, learning with them seemed much more enriching. I couldn't have picked a better place in Mancora, and I'd recommend their lessons to anyone serious about improving their Spanish.

There was plenty of room at the homestay, and so many animals around, all very cute. The whole family was super friendly. I stayed almost two weeks and took Spanish lessons, and my Spanish improved a lot, both in class and through chatting during the day and over meals. I also took Ayuhaska, which was a really special and good experience. Highly recommend, and thank you so much!

Liz and Victor clearly knew what they were doing during the Ayahuasca trip. I felt safe the whole time and was able to let myself have a beautiful experience. It was AMAZING, and I'd definitely recommend it and do it again.

There are all sorts of lessons here in Mancora, from Spanish to dance and plenty more ;) Really recommend this place to anyone and everyone. -Martin
