Sol Natura Hotel

The garden view is breathtaking, and you can relax there in the hammocks. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable, with a decent breakfast selection. The rooms themselves aren’t anything special and could use more power outlets. It’s a good place for a couple of nights before taking the Incarail or after returning. I’d come back.

We slept really well in the cozy beds and woke up feeling rested each morning. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with lovely decor that made them feel homey. The communal spaces were welcoming too. We spent time in the cozy lounge and chatted with the owner. The staff were always warm and ready to help with questions or requests. Sol Natura Hotel is in a peaceful, beautiful spot with stunning Andes views. We had a fantastic stay in Ollantaytambo and would recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, quiet place. Thanks to the wonderful staff for making it so memorable.

My dad passed out in the street from the heat, altitude, and exhaustion while we were looking for breakfast. Two police officers helped us get him back to the hotel, where we laid him on the reception couch. Nobody from the hotel came to check on us. They stayed behind the front desk and ignored what was happening. My mom rang the bell to ask for hot water so she could make him tea, and was told they don’t boil water until 6pm. It was ridiculous given the situation. They were rude and showed no empathy. We’d already paid, so we stayed. Earlier, we’d asked about checking in early because my dad wasn’t feeling well after the flight. The hotel administration was a mess. They first said nothing was available until noon, but that we could have a room for free then. When we asked what the fee would be, suddenly rooms were available, and they said we’d have to pay to get one at noon, after just offering it free. I would never stay here again, and would advise anyone considering it to have other options. If you have a problem, they’ll do nothing to help.

The beds were comfortable, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The garden out back is beautiful, and breakfast was fantastic. A wonderful hotel.
