We were just a couple of minutes' walk from the train, which made the location ideal for our trip to Machu Picchu. It's also quiet there, while still close enough to walk easily to the main plaza and archaeological site. The room was small but clean, with comfortable beds and really nice warm comforters. This is a simple place, but the kind main host stood out. We caught a 5am train, and he got up at 4:30 to make sure we had breakfasts to take with us. We'd recommend staying here the night before the train.

The location was good, but the rooms were stone cold, and an actually warm shower wasn't guaranteed. They felt bare and had no atmosphere. Even two heavy blankets and a duvet couldn't really make up for the uncomfortable sleeping temperatures.

This was our favorite place to stay in Peru, even though it only has a 2-star rating. The colonial interior was charming and well kept, and the staff were super friendly. They even prepared generous breakfast packages for our 5am departure.

We found the service amazing, the price inexpensive, and the area a good one. They also kept our bags for us when we had a late train coming in the next night. I'd recommend this place if you need somewhere to leave luggage or stay the night before the train.

Our room was cozy and very comfortable, and the hosts were so friendly. We could leave our luggage for a day trip and collect it when we got back. The location worked really well for an early train, and they packed us a full breakfast. There's also a little river running through the compound. Very satisfied with our stay.
