I was impressed by the towels, soap, shampoo, and cable TV, and I’d pick this place over any other hotel in Piura. The room was on the small side, but it had A/C and felt very secure. The staff I dealt with were polite and helpful. I had a minor mix-up when I asked for beer and handed the front desk guy 20 soles; he said he hadn’t received it. No big deal. The hotel is downtown, very clean, and surprisingly fancy inside, maybe marble floors, though I’m not sure. Prices are very reasonable.

I asked for a refund after moving rooms three times and finding they were all just as dirty. The sheets in my first room were dirty too. The rooms are tiny, and in some, there’s no roof over the bathroom. In mine, a single wall by the bed separated it from the toilet in the same room. It’s a cheap hotel, so don’t expect much.

We paid 20 dollars for a room that was meant to be just for the night, but we changed rooms three times because we kept finding hairs on the beds. Either the sheets weren’t changed or they weren’t washed properly. One bed also had really tiny bread crumbs. The staff understood and gave us a refund on the spot, which was good since I’d paid by Visa. I ended up here after our flight was cancelled, on a recommendation from someone I didn’t know. A friend of a friend arranged to pick us up, and we’ll ... It’s a “love” hotel, if you know what I mean. What did I expect for the price, anyway?
