By far my worst experience at a Wyndham. The room was dated but passable. In room 218, the toilet had been rigged so you have to jiggle the handle or it won’t stop flushing. What really upset me was being told during checkout that my friend had stolen a piece of paper used as a door ornament. They later confirmed it had been put back, but still made a big deal of it and called us thieves. I won’t recommend or stay at this location again. I expect Wyndham to act accordingly and do better. Update: You replied that the paper was still there, yet you still charged me. If anything, you committed and admitted to fraud on my account. That’s theft.

The parking is very secure, and staff were helpful getting the car parked. The entrance is at the rear, with assistance provided to navigate the narrow one-way streets to the parking lot. There’s direct internal walking access from the car park to the front desk.

Miss Maria Lucia answered all my questions about the city when I visited with friends for a few days. The hotel service was lovely, and I’d be happy to come back with my family.

The restaurant food was just average, and service there was slow. It also took longer than I expected for hot water to reach the shower. Those were minor drawbacks in an otherwise comfortable stay: the room was spacious and clean, with a comfortable bed and pillows, and the air conditioning cooled it quickly. I appreciated having both 220v and 110v outlets. The hotel itself was clean and well managed, and every staff member I met was friendly. We spent a week here doing mission work nearby. Of the many hotels I’ve stayed at in Latin America, this was the best.
