The hotel is lovely, and it’s perfectly placed for visiting Titicaca lake. Carlos was really helpful too, from arranging a taxi and sharing lots of useful Puno travel tips to printing my documents. He even offered me breakfast and a heater on my first day.

We got there at 6 am, and the owner kindly let us use a room to rest and shower. He also brought us plenty of tea and breakfast. He helped arrange taxis and a boat trip to the islands, and was helpful with everything. Our room was clean and comfortable. Such a nice place to stay, I’d definitely recommend it.

It was a relief to meet an owner who really cares after dealing with so many people who don’t. The rooms have an old-fashioned feel, but they’re clean and comfortable. There’s also a garage with room for two cars. Call ahead to check if there’s space for yours.

We’ve come back for a week for the second year running. Carlos gave us a great welcome, and we found the hotel spotless, with a nice view, good breakfast and helpful staff. Minibuses and taxis stop right outside. Everything worked out perfectly, and it’s great value. We highly recommend it! Isabelle and Alain

Carlos can arrange and recommend some really nice tours. For motorcyclists, there’s a covered garage, comfortable rooms and a great breakfast, plus tea and coffee available around the clock. The internet is fast too. A perfect ten.
