I didn't stay overnight, just stopped here during a Peru Hop tour. If I could give it zero stars, I would. We arrived in the early hours and had to wait two hours for the tour to start. The waiting area was freezing. Breakfast cost PEN 17 per person and felt like a rip-off: dry bread and only enough eggs for about a third of the group. We rented towels for a shower, but they were badly stained, and the room they sent us to was disgusting. The bins were overflowing with trash, including toilet paper and sanitary products; the floors were filthy, and there was hair and mould all over the bathroom. Afterward, we noticed marks on our legs that looked like bites, possibly fleas. Luggage storage wasn't secure, since anyone could get to it. When we came back, our bags looked like they'd been moved and knocked around. Avoid it if you can!

The staff were really lovely, but the place itself is a dump. The carpet was dusty, stained, and dirty, and the blankets were in much the same condition. There was no heating or hot water, and we had to huddle together to keep warm in the freezing night. The shower was filthy and the faucet encrusted. I don't know why Trip Advisor rated it so highly. The cafe next door is nice, and you'd be better off sleeping on the pavement outside it. I don't know why Peru Hop uses this as its hotel.

We arrived at this PeruHop / BoliviaHop stop last week after seeing plenty of negative comments, and I think we can confirm the issues. The worst part was finding no toilet paper. When we asked, they just said, "We dont have, empty". That can happen when you're running a hotel... not... Don't book this hotel, and PeruHop, please check whether you can find another partner hotel.

I spent a lot of time here during a PeruHop tour, waiting for buses and such. The hostel is cold, dimly lit, and there's not much to do besides wait. They charge for bathroom and shower use, as well as wifi. The showers are freezing, despite the hot water sign out front, and you're limited to 15 minutes.
