Punta Sal is small and peaceful, with just a few restaurants and little shops that carry a limited range. It suited us perfectly after nearly five weeks of traveling around much of Peru. We’re staying two more days before the trip ends, and so far Qalma has been a beautiful place to unwind. Our ground-floor part of the house opens straight onto the beach and has its own big, pleasant pool. The sand is lovely and clean, even into the water, and swimming here is great. The house is well stocked, with lots of new kitchen equipment. Visa works for payments, though there are no ATMs.
