There's a nice pool and plenty of space in front of it to unwind with family, and the staff are quite friendly and helpful. The place has the essentials and is close to many spots, so it works if you're visiting and won't spend much time at the hotel. Some rooms have air conditioning. The bathroom is small, there's a 5% extra charge for card payments, and I wish the shower had a water heater. I get that Tarapoto is very hot, but cold water is uncomfortable at 11 pm or 6 am, especially when bathing children. There's no restaurant. Still, I recommend it for the value.

For a short stay, it's fine, and the staff are friendly. The pool is medium-sized and sits at the end of the hallway. A single room is 50 soles with a fan or 60 with air conditioning. It's small, with windows onto an interior courtyard, so it feels dark. For privacy, you need to keep the curtains shut and the light on. The bathroom is a good size, but the water is cold only.

Central, with a good atmosphere and a pool. A good place to stay.
