Hotel Los Inkas

For S/80 soles, a double room includes breakfast and offers good value. It's only about five blocks from downtown Trujillo. The basics are all there: hot water, cleaning, cable TV, a fan, wardrobe and dresser, toilet paper, towels, soap, and shampoo. The women working there were attentive and helpful. Cheers!

The staff all provided excellent service, and the rooms are comfortable and nicely furnished. I found the hotel somewhat elegant, with prices starting around S/70. Breakfast is included in the room rate, and there's a restaurant downstairs as well as room service. They don't offer tour guides, which is a shame, but it's still a good place to stay. You can catch a bus right across the street to Real Plaza Shopping Center in Trujillo.

The breakfast was very nice, and I felt safe enough to rest peacefully. The rooms were clean, and the staff gave excellent, personal attention. They made me feel at home.

The rooms were acceptable, though there was a faint damp smell in the afternoon, maybe because of the rain. I was on the second floor and could hear the entrance bell, which disturbed my rest.
