A calm place to get away from Cusco, with plenty of common areas and it’s usually not very busy. The hostel is about a 15-minute walk from central Urubamba, in a quiet area with a few shops nearby. It’s really, really clean, especially the kitchen and bedrooms. The garden has ping-pong and a pool table, and it’s easy to reach Maras and Moray by collectivo.
The views are incredible, and there’s a beautiful park and a well-equipped kitchen. Lucas was a real gem and gave excellent service. It’s a beautiful hostel, highly recommended.
I didn’t feel comfortable in the hostel room as a woman, sharing with men who were on drugs, so I left. The facilities also looked nothing like the photos. It was very dirty: the sheets were stained, and the kitchen was filthy and unusable. I wouldn’t recommend it.
We left early because the place didn’t match what we expected. The online photos and reviews were misleading, and the facilities we found were foul. Our room wasn’t clean, and the kitchen was in such bad shape that we couldn’t really use it. The hostel was almost empty, and some of the other guests seemed high on drugs, which made the atmosphere strange and unsettling. Staff issued us a full refund without any trouble, and we appreciated that. Still, based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
The atmosphere is relaxed, and it’s a lovely family business. Everything was super clean, with hot water, nice views, and a great breakfast. There’s also a camping option. It’s a good place to meet people or just unwind for a few days. The location is handy, near the main road, markets, and sights like hikes and Inca ruins. I highly recommend it.
