I've stayed here on and off for three years, and the service has steadily declined. There have been repeated maintenance failures, including a lift being out for a week and leaking ceilings that let rain soak clothing in waterfront rooms. On this stay, I arrived to find no hot water in my room. It was fixed the next day, apparently as a temporary patch, then failed again three days ago and still hasn't been repaired. I can't shower or shave. Guest management has been unbelievable: no letter or other notice about the hot water problem or expected repair time, no offer to move affected guests or let us use another room to shower, and no apology or response to my emailed complaints.

Beautiful atmosphere and a great place, but my daughter was left waiting two hours for her airport pickup. A shuttle from another hotel eventually collected and dropped her off. Please give your guests priority.

The location made this stay memorable, right across the road from Ela Beach. The rooms were exceptional and the service amazing. I really enjoyed staying at Ela Beach Hotel & Apartments.

The rooms are spacious and affordable, with a nice location, clean surroundings, friendly staff, and a lovely balcony view. But the shower seemed clogged, so I had to wait for the water to drain or it spread over the bathroom's dry tiles. During our two-night stay there was no room service to change sheets, replace towels, or sweep and mop, and we saw small roaches when we first arrived. We can do better, fam. Still, otherwise I'd give the hotel 10/10. 😃👍🏾🙌🏻
