Girasol

We keep returning to Girasol for the food, atmosphere, and service. The familiar dishes have a distinctive taste compared with the usual versions at other Tagaytay restaurants, and they’re consistently good. We also chose it for a small, intimate celebration, and they came through again with a timely setup, tasty food, and approachable servers. If you’re after comforting, quality food, Girasol deserves a place on your must-visit list.

The B&B is easy to reach, right along the main highway and about a minute’s drive from the former Residence Inn mini zoo. Rates are reasonable, and the food is good with enough choices. The rooms, including their amenities, as well as the T&B and cafe/resto, were very clean. The bed was comfortable and the wifi worked well. Everyone we dealt with, from admin and resto staff to the other attendants, was attentive, helpful, and personable.

We chose Girasol for our family reunion without having tried it first, and everyone loved the food. It came in generous portions and wasn’t too oily or salty, which worked well for a large group with health-conscious guests. Despite our big order, everything arrived on time, and the team was accommodating as they helped with the celebration. Getting there was easy since it’s on the highway, and there was enough parking. I’d recommend it for events with 30-50 guests.

The food was sumptuous and the service was superb. We had a great time here. A special shout-out to our servers, Michael and Alvin!
