The location wasn’t ideal for me, and if I had family with me I’d pick somewhere more comfortable. Still, I’d stay here again. It’s a decent place for a short visit, the staff are friendly and great, and the food was really good. Fried tilapia with fries was the best I’ve had in a long time. Whether it works for you probably depends on your comfort level.

Room 21 had a giant cockroach, and I couldn’t sleep well with the traffic outside and the loud air conditioner. It took seven minutes to get a menu at the restaurant. The hotel does have a nice pool and a good location, though.

Getting a pool-view room took three trips to reception. The first room looked out over old mattresses, garbage bags, and a cleaning trolley. The next one was similar, just on a lower floor, and only the third room had the view I’d booked. The mattress was worn and cheap, and felt more like a queen than a king, so both of us rolled toward the middle. The bathroom door dragged on the floor and was hard to open or close. There was a noisy window air conditioner and only a fixed shower head. The hotel may have been nice in 1982, but now it needs a full renovation. At checkout, you also need a note from reception to give the security guard before leaving with your bag.

It’s been a fixture in Angeles City for years and keeps getting updated. The hotel has nice rooms, a big pool, and good food at the poolside Restraunt and bar. It’s right in the center of the Entertainment district.

The room was a decent size and the wifi worked well. It was quiet at night, but the room looked very old, had no view, and there were no double locks. I’ve never liked the location.
