OYO 802 Ka Farah's Inn

The security guards were friendly, and the place is old but seems like they’re trying to keep it clean. The room was a decent size and had a small table. The TV was installed, but there were no channels, maybe it was just for display. They said there was Wi-Fi, but it wasn’t available during my stay because the service provider hadn’t fixed the connection problem yet. The towels looked freshly washed but had stains. The shower worked, though there was no heater. I don’t think the bed linens were new, since there was a lot of hair on them. There’s nothing especially good about the place, but if you’re not picky and need somewhere to stay for a reason other than leisure, you could consider it. I’d bring my own towel.

The rooms are cramped, and you can hear the neighbors, so I wouldn’t recommend them for families. The bathroom is old and smelly; towels and linens are only just acceptable. Soap and tissues cost extra, and there was also an extra charge for the AC room even though we’d booked one online. They called it an upgrade, and at least three other groups had the same issue during our stay. For a solo traveler or a couple staying briefly, it might do. But at $20, you can find a better place for the same price. Be careful when booking online, since they may add charges that should already be included.

The room was much smaller and dirtier than the photos suggested. There was dust and dirt everywhere, cockroaches around, and the bed linens had lots of stains and smelled bad. Under the mattress and bed was filthy, with used tissues, an empty sachet I didn’t want to touch, and even tiny cockroaches. I had a really bad night’s sleep. It was disgusting, and I learned to check customer reviews first. I should have avoided this inn. The photos don’t show what the rooms are really like. Bad service keeps customers away. Beware.

It’s near Robinson's, and parking is available. Still, they asked for an extra fee, saying the web rates weren’t updated. The customer service was poor, the AC wasn’t working properly and was leaking, and there was no shower heater. The toilet smelled, and cockroaches were everywhere. I don’t recommend it at all.
