We stayed three nights in a budget room at L’Fisher Chalet, and it was bigger than I expected for the rate. Both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious. The air conditioning was a little strange, though the room stayed cool enough. Breakfast is served in the main wing. There’s a flat-screen TV and a small refrigerator, but it didn’t seem to make ice. Watch out for the outlets: I couldn’t plug in my Mac chargers unless I unplugged the TV. Bring your own toiletries. They do replenish them, but the soap is paper thin. They also provide disposable toothbrushes and small tubes of toothpaste. Events can make it noisy, but it quiets down by 10 PM. The pool is fine if you don’t mind sharing it with a barangay of adults and kids. The location is good, right in the middle of Lacson, the main downtown road, with jeepneys, minibuses, Grab cars, and taxis available. The price feels worth it. Can’t ask for more!

We had an evening banquet event by the rooftop pool, and it was lovely and breezy up there. The buffet was awesome, the food was good, and the service was impeccable. The kids swam while the adults talked.

It’s a great spot at night, with lots of dishes on the menu. You can also just get coffee and relax while listening to the live band. I think the pool is available for P500, including food and drinks. The romantic atmosphere makes it a nice place for a date with someone special.

Right in the city, it's easy to get to and gives you somewhere to unwind. You can order most of the hotel restaurant's dishes at the poolside bar and eat them there.

Today brought me to a wonderful event at L'fisher Chalet in Bacolod City, and, as usual, it gave me another story to share. Wherever I end up, there always seems to be something to tell, whether it's for one person or a whole group.
