A quiet, private place with easy access to nearby tourist destinations like mines view and baguio country club. It felt safe, with a guard on the premises, and had everything we needed: its own parking, 5 bedrooms, 3 restrooms with heaters, wifi, tv, and a kitchen. This accommodation is the real deal.

The guesthouse is spacious and peaceful, and I’d recommend it for families or groups of friends. Good Shepherd and Mines View Park are within walking distance, there’s a cafe just across the road and a few small restaurants and cafés farther down, and jeepneys to the city center are easy to catch. The pillows and duvet were soft and comfortable, the water pressure was strong, and there’s a breakfast nook beside the kitchen. The smart TV was reliable and the wifi stable. There’s also a hairdryer and bidet. I hope they replace the burned-out bulbs, especially in the foyer up to the 2nd floor. On my first night, barking pet dogs kept me from getting to my car. I got acquainted with the pets the next day. The carport was very dark and I wasn’t sure where its switch was. I couldn’t find the balcony light switch either. On my second day, an area-wide brownout lasted 8 hours. I managed to do some work, though Netflix on the TV was out. They provided emergency lights in case the outage lasted past sundown.
We really loved this transient house. The rooms are beautiful, the atmosphere is pleasant, the kitchen is good, water comes quickly, and security is good. The host was very friendly, and so was their pet, Robby the doggy. They were responsive and accommodating with questions, booking, check-ins, and concerns. In Barangay Gibraltar, it’s close to Good Shepherd, a store for delicious pastries and souvenirs, and Mines View. I highly recommend it for a peaceful, quiet stay in fresh surroundings where you can unwind and recharge in Baguio.
We had a great Holy Week stay at 87 Guesthouse while exploring the city. It’s close to Minesview park, and the place is surrounded by pine trees, quiet and peaceful for relaxing. We cooked our own food and everything was provided. The rooms were great and felt like staying in a 5star hotel, surrounded by nature. The owner was kind and accommodating, as were the neighbors who lent us a handful of rock salt for cooking, like traditional Filipino kapitbahay. Highly recommended.
A nice staycation in Baguio, very clean and close to all locations, including Good Shepherd. Thanks to Thelma, the helper, for being so helpful 🥰
