Prince Plaza Hotel

The staff were the standout for me: friendly, respectful, and quick to help with concerns. Breakfast was included, simple but satisfying, and there was Wi-Fi plus a TV of around 40 inches with a limited number of cable channels. The hotel is a decent, budget-friendly place to rest while exploring Baguio City, at about ₱2,500 a night for our July 4-6, 2025 stay. The room had a musty smell when we arrived. We guessed the recent rainy weather might be the cause, and saw mildew and mold in some areas. Better ventilation or a dehumidifier might help during the rainy season. The towels were small, enough for light drying but not to wrap around yourself, and the bathroom had no bidet. The water heater didn’t seem consistent, and the mirror could have been cleaned better. There was only a small round soap. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and slippers could be requested, but there was no note in the room saying so. No shampoo, bath gel, or shaving kit was provided, so bring your own. The room also had no electric kettle, mini fridge, hairdryer, or bottled water, though drinking water was available in the dining area. If you’re staying longer, ask how room cleaning works, since it wasn’t clear whether you need to request it. The phone could reach reception, but not other rooms. A few small improvements and clearer information would make guests more comfortable, especially in Baguio’s cold, wet months.

The decorations and setup were lovely, but the food service let the venue down. Staff apparently took food before all the guests had been served, leaving a nearly empty buffet and only one trip for guests. They also collected leftovers from tables, saying they were "for their dog," without first asking the event organizer. They could do that, but should have asked the person who booked. The beautiful venue was undermined by unprofessional service.

My 18th birthday at Prince with NatesPartyStore was super B! The package had everything, from the venue styling and food to the photobooth and host, and it all came together perfectly. The owner was also so kind and easy to talk to. Check them out if you’re planning an event.

The security guard was friendly, but the room smelled moldy, and the ceiling had mold. The pillows had that same musty smell, like they probably never saw sunlight. The bathroom exhaust fan couldn’t clear the moisture from the shower, and the doors weren’t dampened, so it got really loud whenever other guests shut their room doors. For the money, this is probably one of the worst hotels. I definitely won’t recommend it or go back, ever.
