碧瑶圣帕特里克度假村(St.Patrick Village Baguio)

There aren’t any stores or restaurants close to the village, so bring what you need or plan for deliveries. The compound itself is ringed with pine trees, and the units have a pinewood cottage feel that adds to the Baguio setting. Each house sleeps 12 and is fairly comfortable. At 20k on weekends, breakfast is included for 12. It’s a good option for large groups and families, with good views and guaranteed parking, a better alternative to transient houses.

We spent three days and two nights here and felt right at home. The house interior was lovely, and there was basically everything we needed. There’s a nearby sari-sari store for groceries and other things. Everything worked except one shower in the downstairs room, and staff fixed it quickly, so it wasn’t much trouble. The quiet and solitude were what I loved most. The place also felt secure, with guards and cute dogs there 24/7. It was a great break from the city.

My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary, before he joined the Lord later that year. I’ll always remember this place, and we loved it. It was very quiet, with nice furniture and fixtures and service like a hotel. I’d give it five stars if the TV could read a hard drive or had a streaming service.

The house is large, with spacious rooms, and worked well for our family vacation. My only concern was the cigarette smell in the ground floor room on the first day. The previous tenant must have smoked there, and the odor took two days to go away.
