Metro Vigan Inn

The place is affordable, fairly new, and only about five minutes from the city area, so it was quiet at night and away from traffic. My family enjoyed the stay, and I'd come back, though I hope they pay closer attention to cleanliness. There was a used towel on the shower curtain and a used glass on the sink when we arrived. The queen bed's sheet smelled bad, and the bunk beds had no comforters, so my sister and I were cold all night. They gave us comforters when we asked the next day.

The staff were helpful, but the hotel itself was pretty average for a provincial stay. Parking is limited. We booked a non-smoking room, yet there were ashtrays and cigarette butts on the tables outside the rooms.

The room was excellent, with good bedding, toiletries, a nice smell, and a working heater. The rate felt fair, or "Sulit," and the place was clean and peaceful. Staff were very accommodating, and I was very happy with their service when I asked them to arrange a surprise welcome for my girlfriend, whose birthday this trip was a gift for. Owner Benedict, I salute you for this place. I can't find enough words to describe it, and I'll definitely recommend it to people visiting Vigan. We stayed Nov 1-3.

The building is newly built, and the accommodation was reasonably priced with good service. It's a few kilometers from Vigan City proper. My only issue was that some rooms don't have an exhaust fan in the comfort room.
