The staff were welcoming, and security was always present downstairs. The location is handy, very close to bayan market and the chruch, and there’s Nova in the same building. I guess the building owner also owns both the Nova supermarket and the meaco royal hotel. The room was fine, though the view wasn’t good. There was no kettle or mugs, the toilet door had an issue, and the hot shower didn’t work.

The room was fairly big, but it was missing common hotel items like an electric kettle and hairdryer. The property looks old, though it’s maintained well. Its location is good, surrounded by markets and places to eat, and it’s also near the jeepney and tricycle terminal, so getting around is easy.

A roomy, clean room at a great price, with friendly staff, free toiletries, working aircon, a TV with channels, and working wifi. It’s in the fruit market area. Booking onsite costs less than booking online. :) A small lamp or lights on the headboard would help when the overhead lights are off.

Just to be clear, this isn't somewhere to go for Instagram photos. It’s a pleasant little sanctuary instead, clean, cool, quiet, and convenient. Right outside the hotel is a great fruit market, with thrift stores nearby and a JAC liner terminal a few minutes away. The main thing that could be better is the limited parking.
