RedDoorz Plus @ Evangelista Street Makati

The receptionist was one of the worst people I’ve ever met. There’s no AC in the lobby. The sheets were dirty, like someone had just slept in them, so I had to ask for a change. The bathroom had mold and leftovers from previous guests. The location is awful, and they sell car parts too. What a great business idea.

I’ve stayed at RedDoorz Plus @ Evangelista Street Makati twice now, and it was convenient again. I had an appointment at the Visa Services office in Alphaland Southgate Mall, which is nearby, and NAIA Airport Terminal 2 is only a few minutes away by ride. My suite was spacious, clean and had the essentials. The bed was comfortable, and the little towel decorations were a nice touch. There was a couch, dining table, vanity area, fridge and TV, which made it feel more like home. The bathroom was clean and roomy enough, with okay water pressure and hot water that worked well. Some of the interior looks simple and a bit dated, but everything was neat and working. The location also makes it easy to get food and transportation. It’s a smooth, budget-friendly stay if you need to be in the area. I’d be happy to come back for another appointment.

In my experience, everything was excellent. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the place was very clean, and the service was awesome.

Our plans changed, but the hotel isn’t replying to emails or messages. Visitors are only allowed until 9 PM, but this is Manila and I’ll have guests arriving after 9. Rooms only get cleaned if you ask. It’s so noisy in the morning that sleeping is impossible. The location isn’t convenient either, you need a taxi to get anywhere. Makati is 3 kilometers away.
