Azalea Hotels & Residences Boracay

The location is central, which is part of why I'd book again. Our serviced apartment style room had a microwave, kettle, utensils, and plates, and the rooftop pool was a nice extra. Staff did a good job cleaning and turning over the room, with bottled water, toiletries, and towels replaced each day. The breakfast buffet was decent too. There are a few worn or dated spots in the rooms that could use a refresh, but they didn't affect the stay. Good value for families of any size.

The rooms were lovely and the location was good, and the beds were comfortable, but they were very small. If you're a couple and don't want to share, it's fine; otherwise, I don't think this is a good fit. Breakfast was a big letdown and really unappetising, especially if you're not into a Philippines breakfast. The Wi-Fi was poor and sometimes stopped working. We were woken at 04.00 by reception calling to ask for someone I'd never heard of. It was also noisy very early, with people in the hallway and restaurant. It seems much better suited to families, and I don't think couples will enjoy it.

The pool was clean and nice, with lots of lounge chairs, and the stay felt too short. The rooms are big, and they provide toiletries, fresh towels, and water every day. You can cook too, as long as the food isn't too smelly. Towels are lent out for free when you go out, and each guest also gets slippers and a laundry bag. I'd choose this place again if I return to Boracay.

We stayed longer because of the typhoon, and rebooking the room was no hassle. Whenever we asked for cleaning, they changed everything and refilled what was running low, including coffee and bathroom essentials. That helped us feel at home and made us want to extend the stay. The staff were so friendly, patient, and helpful, and the room had plenty of space for our family and everything we needed. The kids loved the pool, and everyone enjoyed the breakfast buffet, which had lots of choices for adults and children. Azalea Beach Resort Boracay was clean, close to the beach and restaurants, and near a laundry area and market. It felt safe for the kids too. We had a wonderful, relaxing family vacation and would highly recommend it for a Boracay trip with loved ones. We'll definitely be back! 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🌴☀️ Kudos to Azalea!!!
