We ended up booking another hotel because it was impossible to get proper rest here. The walls seemed to be plywood, so noise came through from every direction, and there were bugs. Service was poor, too. We weren't expecting luxury, just the basics. We had planned to stay seven nights, but left early. The room looked very different from the online photos, which had drawn us in with their color scheme. Since we work at night and sleep in the afternoon, we needed it dark and quiet, but the blinds barely kept the daylight out. There was no kettle, rug, microwave, or hotel kitchen to reheat food. With no elevator, carrying luggage upstairs was difficult, and getting help wasn't easy. My friend had a separate booking, and even with the confirmation, staff couldn't find it in their system at first. It took a while to sort out. I wouldn't recommend staying here unless those conditions are okay with you.

I'd give this zero stars if I could. It was so noisy that we could hear people in the next room, and the videoke seemed to have no cutoff, so it disrupted our sleep. The walls are just wood, and it wasn't work-friendly. There were flies everywhere, the bedsheets had lots of stains, and there were no cabinets for our things. We were really disappointed. Don't book here, or you'll regret it.

The storm caused leaks in the rooms, so we didn't stay here. They moved us quickly to Shore Time Hotel Station 1, and the new place was even better, though a little farther from D’Mall. I appreciated the quick response and the upgrade to a better room, but I wish they'd told us about the move before the day it happened.

We slept well here, with comfortable, clean sheets and pillows. Even the water smelled good, unlike the fishy or canal-like smell I've encountered at other hotels. The staff were kind and respectful, and I'll definitely come back to Shore time Hotel Annex. It's close to banks, shops, and restaurants, and the beach is a two-minute walk away. Early check-in costs extra, and the earliest you can check in is 1:30 if a room is available. Thank you!
