The beach itself was a letdown on our visit: it felt a bit dirty, and the number of activities, especially ATVs, took away from the peace. The resort, though, had a relaxing natural feel, with lots of trees, and looks aesthetically beautiful. Our room for two was comfortable and seemed fairly new, though some details could use more finishing over time. Bathing water was good. Internet only worked at reception, so Wi-Fi across more of the resort would be handy. The place has a nice atmosphere and potential, especially if you like nature.

The one decent part was the staff service. The facilities were disgusting, with public showers and restrooms left unclean and poorly maintained, and some toilets wouldn't flush. Our room was tiny, basically just a bed with no cabinets or mirrors. The price was okay, but that doesn't excuse such bare-bones accommodation or the state of the shared bathrooms. We ate there too, and the buttered chicken was undercooked and still bloody. Don't believe the social media hype.

The beach at Liwliwa Beach looked peaceful at night in the photo, with a warm, calm atmosphere. Being there felt like a quiet, intimate pause from the busy world, almost reflective.

Mosquitoes were all over the room, so it was hard to relax or sleep. The water was yellowish and smelled strongly unpleasant, making it uncomfortable to use. We asked for towels, but none arrived; when we checked again, we were told they had run out and were still being washed. Towels should have been ready before guests checked in. This stay fell far short of what we expected, wasn't worth it, and I wouldn't recommend the resort.

Even with only six of us, the room felt cramped, though we paid ₱10,000 for one advertised for ten people. There was a cockroach, and no towels were provided. Nearly everything seemed to cost extra, down to ₱100 to borrow a small pot. The stay wasn't worth the price, and I wouldn't recommend the resort.
