The elevator was defective, so we had to walk down from our room on the 4th floor to the ground floor. Nobody explained how it worked, and the service crew and front desk weren't friendly. They should help guests out, especially in the rain, by lending an umbrella so we can get to the car. Parking at the front is also a problem because there's no space there. I wouldn't recommend booking this hotel.

There was no complimentary shampoo, rug, or slippers in the room, which was disappointing. At the front desk, I waited about a minute while the staff seemed occupied with their computers and chatting. After asking for my ID, they took a while to tell me my booking was in a different building. They seemed uninterested and unwilling to answer my questions. The service and lack of basic amenities left a poor impression, and I won't return.

The young man who cleaned the room was really nice and respectful. This hotel is a lot better than the bigger, more expensive place next door with the same name, and at least the shower water gets warm here. They didn't provide drinking water, unlike the hotels I've stayed at in 12 different countries. I think the price should be a little lower to make it more acceptable. For 400p more a night, I'd rather rent a condo and get a big step up in amenities.

There are plenty of restaurants nearby, some within walking distance, and the internet connection was good. Our room had enough space and was nice, but the TV didn't work or show any channels during our stay. Check-in was quick and the staff were nice. We booked online, though towels weren't available at check-in; staff told us they'd bring them and did so later. There was ongoing construction during the day.
