I was there for six nights in a deluxe room that was on sale. The internet never worked during my stay, even though staff tried to fix it. They told me a flat iron was available, but I couldn't use it myself. I had to hand over my clothes for someone else to iron, for an extra fee. When the room was cleaned, the cups and saucers were left unwashed, and coffee, creamer, and sugar weren't replenished. There were only two towels and one floor towel when I arrived. After two days I asked for fresh bedding, but staff seemed reluctant, and my requests for extra hand and face towels went unfulfilled. The floor towel wasn't changed either. These problems took a lot away from my stay. Better handling of guest requests would improve things.

The food was the best part for us. The breakfast buffet had a good selection, and it was refilled quickly. The rooms were another story. Our first room on the second floor looked very old, with mold, and didn't feel like a three-star hotel. Shower water pooled around our feet instead of draining, and the hot water wasn't working properly. The bath towels shed tiny white fibers all over my face. They moved us to a room on the third floor on our second day. It was cleaner and looked better, though the bathroom was smaller. We stayed for three nights and four days. For the price, it's okay if you're not fussy about the rooms. I also noticed a lot of staff standing around chatting loudly. Milk cost P80 per glass; they said the free milk was only for cereal, so they'd give just half a glass per request. That was a first for me at a hotel, but that's their rule. One more thing, staff and guests share the first-floor toilet, and staff do their makeup there.

We were there for our National Accreditation for Technical Officials for the upcoming Palarong Pambansa. The VIP Hotel is family-friendly and right in the heart of the city. I had a good stay, and the receptionists and other employees gave great service.

The buffet had lots of variety and tasted excellent, and the rooms were roomy, comfortable, and well-kept. The staff stood out most, always attentive, polite, and ready to help. It was a very pleasant, satisfying stay.

Breakfast at the eat-all-you-can buffet was really good, and the prices felt fair. The rooms are excellent, and the beds are very comfortable. I'd recommend staying here.
