We had already paid in full, so we felt stuck staying there during our one week in Manila and didn’t want to waste time arguing. On the first day we complained about the roaches. The room attendant said, “I think you are only in a deluxe room.” Apparently a deluxe room comes with thousands of roaches, and a luxury room might come with millions. The staff are very well trained at lying and pretending: “OHHHH, MAY IPIS PA DIN.” 😂😂😂 They moved us through three rooms, but every one had roaches everywhere. We probably killed hundreds, maybe thousands, across those rooms, so they should give us a 99% discount. My partner’s eyes started swelling on day one, possibly from cockroach bites. The air conditioner made strange noises and seemed to drip icy water while we were lying on the bed. The bed smelled very sticky, so I asked for two bedsheets, but that changed nothing. On the first day they said the shower was under maintenance. When I looked at it, rust covered it and it seemed not to have worked for decades. 😂😂😂 They gave us a pail and dipper, complete with extra mushrooms. 🥳🥳🥳 This place is a health hazard and should be closed. I was very dissatisfied and won’t recommend it. There’s no zero (0) star option. 😜 You’re still lucky, Hotel 99, that you got 1 star.

Seeing baby cockroaches all over the room made this feel like a waste of money. My home is way better than this so-called hotel. I paid for a quiet, relaxing place, but the air conditioner sounded like a public vehicle. I’m sure I won’t come back. Lol.

Save your money and don’t stay here. We’ve never checked into a more disappointing hotel. The room smelled bad and had lots of cockroaches, and the air conditioner wasn’t working properly. We asked to switch rooms and get a refund for the price difference, but staff said they couldn’t do that.

I only stayed one night because I was exhausted after a 16 hour flight, and I couldn’t leave fast enough. The first “deluxe” room had spiderwebs, insects crawling around, and a filthy floor. They changed my room. The staff were friendly and tried to work with what they had, and I respect that they did their best. But the owner needs to stop using false advertising if he wants the business to succeed. The photos on Agoda didn’t match what I found.

There were roaches in every room, even after they moved me four times. I probably killed over 20 across those rooms, so they should be paying me. Everything was dusty enough to give me allergies, the AC made strange noises, and there were blood stains on the sheets. This place is a health hazard and should be closed down.
