Nelva made a real impression on us. Her massage was relaxing and professional, and she was lovely to chat with. Later, she was serving in the restaurant too, just as warm and efficient, with freshly cooked food and a smile. The food was excellent throughout our two-night stay, and everything arrived promptly. The beach was spotless and right by the rooms, so it was easy to step out and relax there. Our room, the shared spaces, and the restaurant were also immaculate and well maintained. The staff were attentive and friendly, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We came away wanting to return, and would recommend it as a clean, welcoming place for a relaxing getaway.

There was plenty to enjoy, including basketball and tennis courts, and the staff were accommodating. Service was great and the food was good too. The room could use some improvement, especially the TV, whose screen had green lines.

The staff at Cebu R Resort were attentive and professional, greeting us warmly and handling requests quickly. They made my birthday feel special. Even with the typhoon weather during my two-night, three-day visit, the resort gave me a lovely experience. The villa and grounds were very well maintained, though I noticed green algae starting on the pool sides. I booked a Premium Room in a beach-side cliff villa, and falling asleep and waking up to ocean waves was the best part. The room was spacious, the AC worked well, and there was a small fridge, water heater, Nespresso machine, safe, and Marshall Bluetooth speaker. The bathroom had a jacuzzi and separate shower, but its door didn't offer much privacy because you could be seen from outside. The room got quite cold at night, so indoor slippers would be useful. There are basketball, volleyball, and tennis courts, plus a kids' play park and an in-house restaurant. Wi-Fi was reliable at around 30-50 Mbps, fine for browsing but possibly slow for heavy data work. The resort is near the main highway and marked with banners, so finding it was easy. From Cebu City, driving takes about 2.5 to 3 hours. By public transport, a bus to Tabuelan Public Market/Terminal costs about 190 PHP, then a short motorcycle ride for 40 PHP gets you there. I'd rate value for money 4.5/5, service 5/5, and ambiance 5/5. For a spacious cliffside stay with attentive service, this is a lovely option.

The room upgrade was a nice surprise: we'd booked a double room with garden view and got a queen villa with seaview instead. The staff were always smiling and ready to help. But the food was the best part for me. We had Lechon Kawali, Pochero, and a Rice Platter, all in such generous portions that we reheated the leftovers the next day. I'd definitely return.
