Crown Regency Hotel and Towers

I was there for a business trip during the Sinulog 2026 festival, when other hotels were full, and the weak Wi-Fi was a real problem. The hotel is well placed in the center of Fuentes, near capitol Building and city sports center, but the area stays busy all night. The hotel itself is very old and poorly maintained. For rooms above the 19th floor, you have to change lifts, and the room wasn't great. The bathroom was bad: there was no hot water, only warm at best, and the shower drain was blocked, leaving water pooled after bathing. The outlets weren't suitable for laptops, and the lights were very dim. They only provided two 330 ml water bottles a day. Breakfast had a very small selection and was bad. I wouldn't recommend it. There are much better hotels in Cebu, so avoid this one.

We stayed one night at Crown Regency last year. The room was spacious, comfortable, and really nice, and the staff were friendly. Being in the heart of the city was a big plus, and the casino and other entertainment were a bonus. The pool was the letdown: it was far from the rooms and still under maintenance during our visit. My kids and I had been looking forward to using it, so that affected the stay and brought my rating down to three stars.

My partner tried the Sky Walk and really enjoyed it. Our room was nice, with enough space for writing and a chair by the long phone charging area, though there was no safe. The towels were good, and we had two tubes each of shampoo and body wash, but the shower dispenser was empty, so bring the tubes in with you. We forgot toothpaste, thinking it would be supplied, but it wasn't. There were few complimentary items beyond water, and no room slippers. Breakfast had limited choices but was adequate for us. There's an outdoor smoking area on the ground floor near the front entrance.

For such a low nightly price, I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, spacious rooms and the staff. I only stayed one night. The pool was closed, but that didn't affect my plans. A few things around the property need repair or renovation, but I was very pleased with the stay.
