Kasa Boutique Hotel

As soon as I saw the room, I didn't stay longer than 30 minutes. It gave me prison-cell vibes, with no windows and industrial crime-scene markings. A shared multi-bunk setup isn't for me: I want privacy, to have women visitors after 10 pm, to play music, and a big bathroom with somewhere convenient to hang clothes. I could recommend these beds if you want somewhere quiet to sleep, don't mind strangers sharing common areas, and are okay with lots of rules. Among the few...

The staff are attentive, but whoever manages this Hostel needs to wake up. The air conditioner is broken, and all I keep hearing is that maintenance will come clean it. I've had to open the curtain a little just to let air in. The room is humid and uncomfortable. I hope the owner reads this, comes to the property in person, and maybe spends a night here to see how it is. This run-down condition and the AC problem seem to come from poor maintenance, as if management chose to overlook it. Ridiculous. This place is a scam. I've already told family and friends to avoid Kasa Boutique unless they properly clean and fix the AC.

A lovely little find in Cebu City. Kasa Boutique Hotel felt like a home away from home, with amazing staff, next-level hospitality and spot-on cleanliness. The attached cafe had the best coffee I tasted in Cebu. It's a short grab ride to lots of places, and it was nice seeing both locals and foreigners at the hotel. Great value, and I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone staying in Cebu City. Well done Kasa Boutique Hotel, I'll be back. Thankyou.

Good value for money, and the rooms had pretty much everything you need. The hotel was clean and tidy. My only small gripe was that reception staff weren't especially knowledgeable about general Cebu questions, like recommendations or transport.
