The front desk team and manager were excellent, and they’re the only reason this gets one star. I stayed at Primeway Suites Cebu, where loud noise went on continuously from 3:00 AM until almost 5:00 AM. I couldn’t sleep at all. There had been no warning or notice about late-night activity, and guests weren’t given any choice. The soundproofing seemed nonexistent, with noise coming straight into the room. I paid for a place to stay and got two hours of sleepless frustration instead. This is a basic failure of service, and the facilities and noise control weren’t acceptable. If you need rest and comfort, I’d book somewhere else.

Robinsons Fuente Mall is practically next door, and it’s an easy walk to Fuente Osmeña Circle. I wasn’t sure whether there was a shortcut. The hotel is in the same arcade as Starbucks, restaurants, and shops, which made the location handy. It’s about a kilometer from downtown Cebu. My one-night stay at Primeway Suites was great, and the place feels fairly new, maybe only a few years old.

We arrived just after the typhoon, and the hotel was already fully operational. Booking was easy, the front desk responded quickly, and there were lots of restaurants nearby. Our room had plenty of space, power outlets, and a table and chair.

The place is clean, spacious, and quiet, even if it doesn’t have the luxury of other five-star hotels. The staff are kind and work hard. I’d definitely recommend it.

The room felt modern, clean, and comfortable, and the price was good. The cold shower water was a letdown. After midnight, staff were cleaning the floor and slamming doors, which kept me from sleeping well. They need to pay more attention to guests’ comfort at night.
