RedDoorz Plus @ Jones Avenue Cebu

This was the worst check-in experience, and the price felt very high. The bathroom had no hot water, the toilet was broken, and the door lock didn’t work. There were lots of mosquitoes and cockroaches in the room, and no WiFi. I’ve stayed in RED DOORZ before and never had an experience this bad.

The rooftop pool is easy for guests to use, and the wide view of the city is lovely to sit and take in. This hotel is in the center of a busy city, so it works well for business trips or leisure. Rooms have a modern design, high ceilings, and plenty of space. Door security and the elevator access lock are up to date. Staff were courteous and friendly. The front desk can be busy, but they’ll help once they finish the task at hand. Book them now!

The building is new, the price felt worthwhile, and I was comfortable throughout my stay. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A few small things could make it easier: the socket by the bed or bedside table wasn’t working. I thought the bathroom sink was clogged, but it only needed the water stopper turned. It would also help to have local phone numbers in each room. I didn’t know reception’s number, so I had to come down from the 7th floor to raise my concern. Still giving 5 stars, and kudos to the team!

The rooftop food was tasty and cheap, and the rooftop views across the city and mountains are breathtaking. The staff were really friendly, and the WiFi worked well. We had a fantastic stay, especially for the price. Some family staying nearby paid more and got much less. The bathroom was spacious and recently renovated. This is the same hotel as express inn, and many taxi drivers don’t know it by the name Reddoorz @ Jones. One downside: the room key controls the power, so you can’t leave the aircon running during the day. It’s a bit hot when you return.
