SR Vacation Rental - Spianada

I booked through AirBnB and found it quiet, private, spacious, and very clean. The guards on duty were also very accommodating.

I liked the building layout: it’s a 10-story building with an open area in the middle, and it seemed like many residents were local families. The street is quiet and has a mini plaza with a couple of cafés serving all-day breakfast and affordable food. There’s also a 7 eleven across from the building, and taxis are usually parked out front. It’s well located in Cebu city, about a 20-minute walk to Fuente osemaña circle and 15 minutes to Ayala center. I didn’t use the gym or pool, but checked them out. They looked fairly small, though not crowded. There’s parking, but I’m not sure whether short-term guests can use it, so check with your renter.

A quiet place to live, close to The Mango Avenue now Gen. Maxilom. Offices, malls, restaurants, schools, supermarkets, bars, and churches are all a short distance away. It feels safe and secure, and there’s a gym, pool, and parking.

It’s not a good place to live if you have children. There’s no space for them, and security guards keep scolding kids for making noise while playing on the third floor, the only open area for them. I’m glad there’s a swimming pool, but it’s been closed most of the time since covid started, and I don’t understand why. We pay dues but don’t get the benefit. Most of my friends in other condos can book ahead whenever they want to swim. That seems okay and understandable, compared with just keeping the pool closed.
