Good location and friendly staff, but the room was mostly a letdown apart from the comfortable bed and window that opened. My husband and I were in Room 302. The glass door for the shower and toilet area is awful, a curtain or sliding door would make more sense. The shower head is so high that water gets onto the toilet and floor, with no curtain or glass partition to keep it contained. Pressure was okay. It's partly solar heated, so hot water can take a while to come through. The A/C is noisy, and sometimes opening the window was easier. A fan in the room would have helped. The safe is on the desk and easy to remove, so I wouldn't use it if you're worried about your things. Nothing was stolen, and we left valuables in our backpacks and suitcases in the room when we went out. Breakfast upstairs was okay, but you have to order the night before, and vegetarian choices are limited, with nothing vegan. There are only stairs, no lift. The roads outside can be noisy, so it may not suit light sleepers.

For a cheap stay, it might be okay for a couple of nights, but I wouldn't stay longer. There was barely any water, even drinking water, which seems like the minimum to provide guests. There was an ant in the room. Breakfast was supposed to be included, but it was dry and tasted terrible. The pool water wasn't as clear as it looked in the booking site's picture. The hot water did work, which I hadn't expected from earlier reviews. The fridge in the shared kitchen was empty of water and could use a clean.

The rooms are clean and bug-free, and decent for the price. Hot water was available sometimes. The staff were really friendly and helpful.
