Pearl Bay Villas

The villa views and design were breathtaking, among the best we've seen in Palawan. Our guide made the tour easy and enjoyable, staying with us as we visited a private island, a beautiful beach, and a cave. Everything ran smoothly and was well organized. The owner was lovely and accommodating, and made sure our needs were met throughout the stay. The staff were warm, approachable, and always smiling. We also really enjoyed the food, especially the seafood, with a good range of Western and Filipino dishes. We'd happily return.

What made our 12 days at Pearl Bay Villa special was the people. Everyone was accommodating, smiling and laughing with us, and the hands-on owner, Sir Peter, kept checking that we were well taken care of. It's rare to have an owner so present and attentive. Ms. Bianca reliably organized our Coron trips and island hopping. Chef Mike cooked excellent food and was always open to our requests, and Kane kept serving us amazing drinks, especially those incredible frozen margaritas. Our experience wouldn't have been the same without this team. Thank you for making the stay unforgettable.

We came to rest and recover during a month-long trip, and three nights here did the job. After arriving early from the airport in transport they arranged for 2500p, we took a quick boat ride and were welcomed warmly. They let us check in right away, which we really appreciated after a long travel day. I slept 14 hours the first night! The room was spotless apart from a few sugar ants, which makes sense when you're in nature. The bed was very comfortable, the hot water had good pressure, WiFi was fast, and our balcony had an incredible view. There were free kayaks, a clean, beautiful pool, lots of places to relax, and wonderful staff. The restaurant served great meals, and we filled our days poolside or on the balcony. A couple of things to know: swimming in the ocean isn't recommended here because of box jellyfish, and there isn't beach access. I thought I'd miss that, but the infinity pool looking out at the sunset more than made up for it. There are also lots of steps because the hotel is on a steep hillside. For us, it was perfect, and it never felt crowded. After check-out, they arranged a private island-hopping and snorkeling tour for 5000p. We could choose our own schedule and do what we wanted. We're budget travelers, so it was a splurge, but absolutely worth it. After visiting Coron town and taking the organized tours there, I can say 5000p for the private trip is a steal and a must do. It was the highlight of our whole trip, and we nearly skipped it thinking it was outside our budget. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Peter!

The sunsets were gorgeous, and the four-night stay was awesome. Peter’s staff were all great, with Bianca taking care of everything we needed. The villa was spotless and comfortable, and the power and hot water were reliable. The cook did an excellent job with every meal. We took the Triangle tour to Pass Island, which was stunning for snorkeling and had a nice, peaceful beach. It was quite a contrast to the zoo-like place we’d come from in El Nido. I also earned my advanced scuba certification at Pirates, just two minutes away, and had a great experience.
