Tondaligan Beach Hotel

We booked two nights through booking.com at around 2400 pesos per night and were told breakfast was included. When we extended for one more night and paid at reception, we found out our room rate was 1800 pesos a night. We paid for the extra night. At checkout, reception said we had nothing else to settle and took the key. Then, as we were heading to our next stop, a receptionist came after us to say breakfast wasn't included and cost 1800 pesos, the same amount as the room night we'd already paid for.

RedDoorz @ Tondaligan Beach Hotel is on Tondaligan Road in Dagupan and has air-conditioned rooms described as family-friendly. There's a 24-hour front desk. Rooms come with TVs, private bathrooms, and free toiletries, along with complimentary internet access. Daily housekeeping is also provided.

The rooms feel a bit dated, and the TV is old, though being across from the beach makes it easy to forget about watching TV. Staff were really friendly, much like most of the locals I met around town. They can serve breakfast at the long table beneath the umbrella tree. Outside, the hotel has a relaxing feel at night.

The room was roomy and comfortable, with a well-kept AC, two pillows per bed, and a TV set up for Netflix. The bathroom was clean and spacious, with a working heater and bidet. They supplied shampoo, soap, and a good towel. Wi-Fi was fast but sometimes dropped, perhaps depending on how close the room was to the extender or router. Smart and Dito signals were weak. For drinking water or hot coffee, ask the lobby staff, and there's also a small store inside. I stayed one night for deployment work on February 11, 2025. The building is old but good, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and ready to help. There's lots of parking, and the place is near the ocean view, Mac Arthur Landmark, and stores such as Puregold, Jolibee, and Home-madeBangus. In the lobby, you can use the kitchen, watch TV, relax, or eat at the setup under the tree. No breakfast is included. There is no elevator, but using the stairs wasn't tiring. It's a comfortable place for a relaxing stay, and families could consider it too. One note: the map pin is wrong. The hotel is across from the Tondalingan Beach marker, at the right, in the yellow building. The room rate is attached in the photo.
