Secret Garden Resort Panglao Island

The garden setting made it easy to unwind, and the resort felt quiet and close to nature. Our room was comfortable and clean, with the facilities kept in good shape. Staff were quick to help with questions and requests, always greeting us warmly. Secret Garden Resort really suited us for a peaceful break, and I’d recommend it to anyone after a cozy getaway.

The biggest problem was the poor value. For the same money or less, places nearby like Henann Alona Beach Resort offer a much better location, service, and stay. We were four guests at Secret Garden Panglao for a few nights, and help was consistently slow whenever we asked for it. Meriam the manager was especially unhelpful and slow to respond. Every meal arrived cold, and about half the menu items weren’t available. Getting a tricycle or tuk-tuk arranged through the hotel often took around 30 minutes, which made travel around Panglao frustrating. The stay was disappointing, and I wouldn’t return.

Getting to nearby tourist spots was easy from this hotel. Inside, the room was spacious, clean, and had all the essentials, while the restaurant and lobby felt impressive and relaxing. Staff welcomed me warmly when I arrived and helped with what I needed throughout the stay. They were kind, attentive, and ready to assist with a smile. I’d highly recommend it for comfort and good service.
