OYO 397 Eco Green Hotel

I had a great two-night stay and would highly recommend the hotel. The atmosphere was lovely, with newspapers, books, batik, and art on display in the lobby. My room was clean, and I was surprised to find a Bible in it, along with a framed Bible verse. The hotel also had parking, free Wi-Fi and breakfast, towels, toiletries, a TV, air conditioning, concierge service, and a hot-water shower. I hope they add complimentary bottled water in the future. The receptionist was friendly and explained that the usual rate was P1 000.00 a night with breakfast chosen from a list. I found a Traveloka promotion for around P510.00 per night and booked a single room. I paid a P500.00 security deposit, which was refundable at checkout, and they let me check in an hour before the official time. The staff were very accommodating, and the room was tidy.

It's affordable, and the food is a good budget option. The hotel is right across from the bus terminal, and I really like it, though it's no longer an Eco green hotel. One issue in room 205: the CR door doesn't shut properly, so shower water can get into the room and the cold comes in too. I hope they fix it.
