We stayed three nights in January 2026 and had an amazing time. The area was very well maintained, our room was clean and nice, and the pool was beautiful. There were hammocks, sun beds, and other things set up on the beach. The restaurant food was delicious, and the reception staff were very friendly. We can absolutely recommend this place.

The staff were amazing and took care of whatever we needed. The rooms were super clean and well maintained, with hot water, WiFi, a fan, and AC. There’s also a pool, private beach, and a great mix of local and western food. An amazing stay. When I'm back in Donsol, I'm staying at this resort again.

I couldn't make it because of multiple flight disruptions and cancellations, but the people at Elysia Beach supported me throughout, offering advice and help the whole time. That's what good customer service means to me, and I strongly recommend staying there. I only regret not getting to meet such kind people in person. Hopefully I'll return to the Philippines and visit Donsol and Elysia Beach!

We really liked the atmosphere and the food. The portions were huge, and the service was so lovely. This seems like the best place in the area for finding whale sharks, though unfortunately January makes that very difficult.

The beach has a lot of stones in the water, so it isn't ideal for swimming. Still, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elysia Beach Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and ready to help with questions, and the food was delicious. We also liked the drinks and cocktails. It's a small, well-maintained resort in good condition, with an authentic, natural setting. The rooms aren't luxurious, but they were cozy and perfectly adequate for the price, especially the huts by the pool. We'd definitely recommend it.
