For around ₱2k+, this felt like a real steal. Our room on the second floor was huge, with a lovely bed, refrigerator, and hot shower, and I really liked the atmosphere throughout the place. Breakfast was included, though there’s no swimming pool. The staff were friendly and always smiling, and we appreciated the guard keeping an eye on our big bike. It’s very Instagrammable too. Definitely coming back!

Many thanks to the whole team at Coco Grande for helping me during my stay from 7 to 8 march 2026! They quickly and efficiently sorted out the problem with my luggage and keys. I’m very grateful for the service.

The building feels a little dated, but our rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. We booked three rooms for our group and everyone had a blast. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the lounge bar had a bartender who made delicious drinks. It’s within walking distance of the Port of Siquijor and other places, including restaurants.

I’d been happy with Coco Grande on my first trip to Dumaguete years ago, so I booked a deluxe room for a week this time. Glad I did. The rooms are fantastic, roomy, and well equipped, with a queen size canopied bed, plenty of hanging space, a refrigerator, Kettle and coffee making fixings. The staff are as kind and helpful as you could ask for. Getting to the city centre is a short, pleasant stroll past Silliman university.

The staff were nice, and the location is near useful places like terminals and the airport. That’s about where the positives end for me. The place is very dated, the rooms weren’t good, and I could hear loud noise from nearby bars and residential areas at night. The water smelled bad for days. I’ve had better stays in hostels, and I don’t recommend it.
