We were in Room 21 from February 22-24. The staff were good-looking, always smiling and accommodating. Our room was spacious, the sheets were clean, and even though we booked for two, we got three beds. The toilet had hot and cold water with a good flow. The food was tasty and came on time, and there was free coffee around the clock. They also supplied clothes hangers and slippers, which were handy after island tours. There’s a place to dry wet clothes and a small sari-sari store with things like soap, shampoo and detergent. The shore is a two- to three-minute walk away.

The rooms were clean and spacious, with two pillows and an extra throw pillow per bed. They’d set out home slippers, a hanging rack and towels, and there’s a fridge for takeaway food if you ask reception where to put it. Free breakfast was okay, and there was free coffee too. The staff were friendly. Mosquitoes coming in from outside are one thing they could improve, but I had a very good stay.

The location was bad, the reception flooded when it rained, and the tap water smelled awful and looked dirty. We couldn’t wash clothes there, and there was no room cleaning even after six days. Breakfast was the cheapest you could get. At 2,000 pesos a night, it was overpriced for what you got. I know we’re easygoing people, but this was too much. I can’t believe the reviews I read here, maybe they’re fake. We checked Maya Hostel instead. It was 1,490 pesos a night and had a swimming pool, and it was a super nice place. I’d recommend it.

Our stay was short but enjoyable. The water wasn’t great, so we bought our own drinking water at the nearby supermarket for a very affordable price. The hotel, tour operators and everything else were all within walking distance.

The family room was big and clean, though we found lots of bugs and mosquitoes, plus two cockroaches. I paid about 12 USD for laundry and had to wash it again myself. It was still wet after 24 hours, smelled bad, and some clothes had stains. Nobody apologized or took responsibility.
