Weekends Resorts El Nido

We didn’t feel safe and refused to check in. The room had hair on the floor, visible dirt, spider webs, and insects, and the level of cleanliness was unacceptable. Corridors were noisy, with people shouting and smoking inside. There was no staff available to help. This hotel shouldn’t be listed on booking platforms.

Our room was cozy and romantic, and waking up to the pool view was breathtaking. We wished we could stay longer. The location felt like paradise, close to town but still peaceful and private. From arrival, the staff were warm and thoughtful. We got free airport transfers both ways, a refreshing drink, and early check-in and late check-out at no extra charge. Everyone went out of their way to make our first honeymoon trip unforgettable. Thank you for the care and attention to detail. We’ll treasure this memory and can’t wait to return.

The food was okay, with limited variety but enough, and I appreciated the free shuttle to and from the airport. The staff were friendly, but our stay was sad because several basic things kept going wrong. Our first room, Courtyard Room 9, had a door that took all our weight to push open every time. After the first night we asked to move, and they gladly transferred us to Courtyard Room 8, which was much easier to enter. There were repeated brownouts, meaning no AC, TV, or WiFi. Signal is poor in much of El Nido anyway, but losing electricity also took out the WiFi. Sometimes the water supply stopped too, and we had to walk to the front desk to ask when it would return. There was no in-room landline, so any question or request meant walking over there. On the second day, the outages and water interruptions continued. The shower drain in the new room was clogged, but maintenance fixed it promptly.

The huge, very clean pool was one of our favorite parts, and we also loved the delicious two-for-one cocktails. Breakfast was wonderful, the rooms were spotless, and every staff member was helpful and accommodating. This made our trip so much more memorable. It has to be the best resort in all of El Nido. We’d recommend it to all our friends and can’t wait to stay again.
