The Bayleaf Cavite

The pool was fantastic, the room was quiet, and the staff were great. There was no noise from dogs, roosters 🐓, or traffic. I asked for sugar and it arrived in two minutes; I requested a fridge at check-in and it was already in the room when we walked in. The shower was the best I've ever had in a hotel. We stayed two nights, the room was excellent, and the price was great value. We're back in Cavite in July and will definitely book again. Room 316, please.

We'd eaten at the 8th floor before, and this time I brought my family for Mother's Day. My wife and kid were happy with the visit. The buffet had plenty to choose from, and everything from appetizers and soup to mains and dessert was good. It was set up in the middle of the hotel, in a lovely, quiet atmosphere, with someone playing piano while we ate lunch. Manuel and Jericho served us and made sure everything was in order. It's a perfect spot tucked away in the middle of Cavite.

The buffet breakfast at The Atrium was decent, though nothing stood out and the selection felt limited next to other buffets I've tried. The venue was lovely, and the attentive staff offered help and cleared plates promptly. I could bring my laptop and work during breakfast. Internet stability was a problem during my visit, so I sometimes had to use my mobile data, though I was able to work, which was the main reason I checked in. I stayed at The Bayleaf Hotel Cavite during Typhoon Uwan because I needed electricity and internet for work. I booked a Deluxe Queen Room while traveling with my cat, and was told this was their designated room category for guests with pets. Check-in went smoothly, and they clearly explained everything with an information sheet about amenities, hours, and floor locations. We paid a refundable ₱2,000 deposit per night, plus a ₱1,000 pet fee for the two nights. We loved the room. The large city-view window was a highlight for my cat and me, the room and bathroom were clean, and I appreciated the bidet. The bed and lounge chair were very comfortable. One downside was that there wasn't a designated area for my cat to get fresh air or take a quick walk. I hope they consider adding one. My fur baby and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

The comedy singing show at bar B8 was the highlight for me. The hotel is surprisingly nice and sophisticated for the middle of Cavite- Gen Tri!! The rooms are nice, the breakfast buffet is a simple Filipino breakfast, and the pool is cozy for families with kids. Parking is convenient too. It's much bigger than their Intramuros hotel. Recommended if you want a change from Tagaytay or Batangas that's still fairly close.
